Beer Week (called Beef Dip) always has a large turn out. Beef Dip has planned events ranging from pub crawls to beach days. This week typically runs the last week of January – first week of February.

Another great weekend to visit PV and it is also usually during Gay Pride in PV for those wishing to experience Vallarta Pride.

Art Walk

Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a vibrant center of art creation, exhibition and promotion. An important contribution to the city´s art scene is Puerto Vallarta´s ArtWalk which this year will be held from October 26, 2016 through May 31, 2017. The participating galleries in Centro Historico offer works by important national and international artists. Labor Day

End of summer … a great time to go to PV. It can be hot but if you like to have the city and beaches to yourself it is a great time to visit. Its also cheaper to fly and stay during September.

November 2nd – Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos)

During the last week of October to November 2nd, Puerto Vallarta celebrates one of the most representative traditions of Mexico, Día de los Muertos. Highly suggest walking the Malecon to see traditional altars, flower carpets and also visiting the art galleries.

Thanksgiving

Great time to visit PV.  If you’re coming from the US, you will find turkey, dressing and pumpkin pie in lots of restaurants.
